Enkitec is proud to announce their new APEX Plug-in initiative and the release of their first APEX Plug-in, Enkitec Navbar.

Enkitec’s Technology Evangelist, Tanel Põder, will be traveling to Dallas to teach Advanced Exadata Performance: Troubleshooting and Optimization. The master class will be held at Enkitec's Training Center on May 2-3rd.

This three-day course focuses on performing day-to-day administration of the Oracle Exadata platform. Students will learn about the architecture of the Exadata machine and what to expect when asked to administer Oracle’s premier engineered system. Important tasks will be highlighted through hands-on labs. Students will learn how to successfully perform one of the most difficult aspects of Exadata administration – patching, as well as how to handle hardware failures and ensure that the system stays online. Students will learn from Enkitec’s experience of owning and administering their own Exadatas, plus the numerous Exadata implementations performed by Enkitec.

Martin has been a specialist in the Oracle Database Management System since 2001, with a targeted focus on high availability and disaster recovery solutions for mission-critical systems. More recently he has further specialized in the benefits of consolidation and virtualization technologies for Oracle products. Martin is an Oracle ACE, an Oracle Certified Master and a member of the Oak Table Network. He is also co-author of Pro Oracle Database 11g RAC on Linux, published by Apress.
