In this presentation, Tanel will take you through the sequence of steps he uses for determining whether a workload is getting the most out of the Exadata-specific performance features such as the Smart Scans and its related offloading options. This presentation does not attempt to reinvent the wheel of general performance optimization methods, but will present Exadata-specific extensions to these.
