September 21, 2011 – Dallas, Texas – Enkitec today announced it’s 60th Exadata implementation. The company’s first client engagement was launched in 2009. Since then Enkitec has touched over 30 machines, spanning every industry from national big‐ box retailers to worldwide oil & gas corporations. Each installation has included multiple applications – between 20 and 300 unique platforms – making each on‐boarding process completely custom. Subsequent engagements have included tuning, patching, back up and recovery protocols, and data guard set up. “Enkitec has completed more Exadata implementations than any other company in the world,” stated Enkitec Co‐founder, Kerry Osborne, “and with customer satisfaction holding steady at 100% in every case.” The Oracle Exadata Database Machine is the only database machine that provides accelerated performance for both data warehousing and online transaction processing (OLTP) applications, making it an ideal platform for migrating and consolidating data onto grids or private clouds. Exadata is comprised of a network of servers, storage, networking, and software that is scalable, secure, and redundant on a massive scale. One of Enkitec’s most complicated yet integral services is the Exadata Patching Service. Enkitec has administered the patch such that customers are able to keep the platform running seamlessly with no interruption. Osborne commented, “Our customers have not experienced a single unplanned outage as a result of Enkitec’s Exadata Patching Service.” Enkitec has built and sustained its Exadata client base through successful implementations and migrations, and has continued service for companies long after completion of the on‐boarding process. “Because we bought our own Exadata machines we can continue to test and troubleshoot before, during and after an implementation. We wrote the book on Exadata based on our intimate knowledge and hands‐on experience with the machine by staying engaged in the product’s evolution over two years. Literally. It’s called “Expert Oracle Exadata” published by Apress,” continued Osborne. Osborne predicts that five years down the road Exadata will be the predominant storage platform for large Oracle databases, empowering large corporations to consolidate and manage more data. About Enkitec, LP Enkitec is an information technology services firm specializing in the Oracle platform. As a leading Platinum Partner, Enkitec employs the foremost experts in revolutionary database technologies such as Oracle Exadata. Enkitec was established in 2004 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. September 2011 marked a company milestone with the formation of Enkitec Europe, lead by world‐renown Oracle performance specialist, Tanel Põder . With database consultants averaging 15 years of Oracle experience and over 60 Exadata implementations, Enkitec leads the world with the most knowledgeable Oracle experts. Services include: Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Application Development, Enkitec University, and ongoing management services for Oracle Systems.

September 21, 2011 – Dallas, Texas – Enkitec today announced it’s 60th Exadata
implementation. The company’s first client engagement was launched in 2009. Since
then Enkitec has touched over 30 machines, spanning every industry from national big‐
box retailers to worldwide oil & gas corporations. Each installation has included multiple
applications – between 20 and 300 unique platforms – making each on‐boarding
process completely custom. Subsequent engagements have included tuning, patching,
back up and recovery protocols, and data guard set up.

“Enkitec has completed more Exadata implementations than any other company in the
world,” stated Enkitec Co‐founder, Kerry Osborne, “and with customer satisfaction
holding steady at 100% in every case.”

The Oracle Exadata Database Machine is the only database machine that provides
accelerated performance for both data warehousing and online transaction processing
(OLTP) applications, making it an ideal platform for migrating and consolidating data
onto grids or private clouds. Exadata is comprised of a network of servers, storage,
networking, and software that is scalable, secure, and redundant on a massive scale.

One of Enkitec’s most complicated yet integral services is the Exadata Patching Service.
Enkitec has administered the patch such that customers are able to keep the platform
running seamlessly with no interruption. Osborne commented, “Our customers have
not experienced a single unplanned outage as a result of Enkitec’s Exadata Patching
Service.”

Enkitec has built and sustained its Exadata client base through successful
implementations and migrations, and has continued service for companies long after
completion of the on‐boarding process. “Because we bought our own Exadata machines
we can continue to test and troubleshoot before, during and after an implementation.
We wrote the book on Exadata based on our intimate knowledge and hands‐on
experience with the machine by staying engaged in the product’s evolution over two
years. Literally. It’s called “Expert Oracle Exadata” published by Apress,” continued
Osborne.

Osborne predicts that five years down the road Exadata will be the predominant storage
platform for large Oracle databases, empowering large corporations to consolidate and
manage more data.

IRVING, TEXAS — Enkitec today announced that it has won an Oracle North American Titan Award for 2011 in the Regional SI/Reseller Technology Momentum category.

“We are honored to be recognized by Oracle with such a prestigious award,” said Wade Nicolas, Enkitec company president. “As a Platinum level partner in Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), we are committed to working with Oracle to offer our customers innovative solutions. This award is a testament to our technology expertise. We will continue to invest in our corporate team and hope to compete for another Titan Award next year. ”

To win in the Regional SI/Reseller Technology Momentum category, Enkitec detailed its proven track record in selling and implementing Oracle Technology. Oracle selects Oracle North America Titan Award winners based on solutions that drive business and customer value. Enkitec presented a case study of its successful sales efforts in the previous year and excelled in six categories, including revenue, growth, technical development, and marketing.

“Oracle’s valued partner community in North America continues to reach new levels of expertise and innovation in developing and implementing Oracle technologies and delivering value-added services to joint customers,” said Ted Bereswill, Oracle Senior Vice President of North America Alliances and Channels. “This year’s Titan Award winners reflect the powerful combination that Oracle and our Specialized partners bring to customers across the enterprise and distinct industries.”

The following examples highlight successful Enkitec corporate initiatives:

Targetbase
Enkitec was engaged by Targetbase to deploy the Oracle Exadata Database Machine. Services included collaborative discovery, on-boarding, knowledge transfer, technical training along with ongoing mentoring and support through Enkitec’s On-Call service. After the successful implementation, Enkitec continued to work with Targetbase to develop and implement an overall architecture plan, design, and migration strategy.

SOURCECORP BPS
To address rapid customer growth, SOURCECORP BPS sought to upgrade its systems for enhanced performance, availability and scalability. With the help of Enkitec, SOURCECORP BPS purchased a half-rack and quarter-rack of Oracle Exadata Database Machine X2-2 systems for its production and standby environments, respectively. Oracle Active Data Guard was used with the production and standby systems for fast incremental backups, as well as for high availability and disaster protection against planned or unplanned outages at the production site. Enkitec also assisted SOURCECORP BPS in migrating their current Oracle Database 10g system to Oracle Exadata.
