Martin is a Principal Consultant at Accenture Enkitec Group and author. He specialised in the Oracle DBMS since 2001, with his main interests in high availability and disaster recovery solutions for mission critical 24x7 systems. Over the last years he spent more and more time discovering the benefits of virtualisation technologies for Oracle products, mainly by using VMWare ESX Server and Oracle VM/Xen-based virtualisation. As of December 2008 Martin is a proud member of the Oracle Certified Master community having successfully passed the exam for Database 10g Release 2. When not trying to get the best out of the Oracle database for his clients, or working on understanding its internals, Martin can be found presenting or attending Oracle user group meetings meetings, mainly in the UK. In the remaining spare time, Martin contributes to the Oracle Scene and DOAG news, the UK and German Oracle User Group publications as well as the iX magazine which is read by over 50 000 people in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

He is also the co-author of “Pro Oracle Database 11g RAC on Linux,” and author of “Expert Consolidation in Oracle Database 12c.“

Carlos Sierra is the author of some popular tools for Oracle SQL Tuning: SQLTXPLAIN (SQLT), SQL Health Check (SQLHC) and Trace Analyzer (TRCANLZR), among others. Of late, he has also released two useful Oracle database tools by the names of eDB360 and eADAM. He is a coveted and regular speaker at several conferences related to Oracle performance, including Hotsos, OOW, UKOUG, RMOUG and IOUG. Carlos is currently a Practice Director at Accenture Enkitec Group. Prior to Accenture Enkitec Group he worked for Oracle for 17 years. Carlos is a frequent SQL Tuning practitioner constantly helping peers and other professionals to diagnose poorly performing SQL statements.

Hank Tullis is a practice director with Accenture Enkitec Group, bringing almost 30 years of delivery experience in database design, performance and reliability to our technical division. With the onset of engineered systems and BigData, Hank focuses specifically on Oracle Exadata implementations, Oracle Exalogic and Oracle GoldenGate technologies. Additional areas of expertise include Oracle virtualization as well as BigData environments and storage software surrounding Cloudera technologies, such as Hadoop and HBase.
